Low profile toe clamps

So. Basically we are using those 0.9" hight toe clamps from mcMaster. (the black thing on the right)
Their height is perfect for thin and thick plate work we are doing.
The problem with them is the setscrew keeps stripping the threads and we need to replace them quite often.

Anyone knows other low profile clamps? Something cheap and strong.
Or maybe i should just send those setscrews for case hardening. Maybe they will live longer.
