Hurco Ultimax SSM control

I'm look at a used 4020 Hurco with a single screen Ultimax SSM control. What do I need to know about this? I don't know much about Hurcos. It seems like this control was only around for a few years.


This machine has a side mount tool changer. Are those any good on a Hurco?


Are these linear guide machines? Are they beefy machines or more like a Haas?


I don't need any conversational stuff, but the Hurco looks like a good deal. Side mount tool changer, chip conveyor, 40x20 travel.
