This one is a little interesting, with chips too! So I got this lathe and have powered it up last night for the first time. It was running at the time it was purchased by a friend of mine and in good working order. It had a 3 hour tour to its current resting place. When he powered it up it had a "air" alarm. I brought it to my shop and when I powered it up I was able to clear that alarm but it has several others I am not familiar with at all and can really use some help with if possible. I will enclose a picture of the screen, but of all the blinking lights on the dash board the "spindle drive fault" kept blinking and the screen reads " Ex 003 spindle drive fault" then the next line it said "13 drive cpu alarm-14 drive rom". So here is where the chip come in. Unfortunately it was not "Frito's" but when I opened the tail stock side cabinet ( not the power cabinet) I saw 2 computer chips on the bottom of the cabinet. My hope was that they were just old ones that were replaced, and the tech could not find a garbage, but my fear is that it has something to do with the alarm message. If anyone can lend a hand let me know and I will be able to get more details and pictures, Thanks for the help!!
