I have an older Victor with a 10t that I thought was using G code system "A" and turns out it is set up for "B"
Going thru the Fanuc list of G codes many are the same for A, B or C (lathe)
The ones that are different such as for "Cutting cycle A" are listed as: (G90 for A) (G77 for B) & (G20 for C)
But most people think of a G90 as "Absolute" and G20 is "Inch input"
Where the Fanuc engineers talking among themselves when assigning the codes?
What are the benefits of each system?
Mike
