I was wondering how people usually do flat bottom applications on a lathe.
The job consists of a hole 54mm deep 16.72mm diameter.
I am currently using a 16mm udrill to take the material out and then a WNT ecocut to finish it. The ecocut is giving me a lot of vibration on the bottom of the hole.
I tried to use a 10mm endmill and interpolate out the hole but i got a lot of vibration on the inside diameter.
Also I do not have through coolant so i'd say that is not helping.
Is there anything else I could try?
The material is 316 SS
