I have been doing my best to restrain from posting the questions I seem to encounter the moment I conquer something else relating to this Fanuc 0mb control because I have eventually been able to figure it out given enough hours of trial/error.
I would do the same with this, but I didn't want to change the keyboard parameter in case it caused the keyboard to stop working because then I would be in bigger trouble. :ack2:
My control has no soft keys displayed on the monitor no matter what screen I am in (see pics attached). This seems to severely limit the functionality or at least ease of use because all of the tips and the manuals show using the softkeys.
On parameter 38 the bit for full or standard keyboard is set to "1" (full keyboard). I'm hoping this is a standard keyboard I have and by changing the parameter that will resolve it. Is this a "standard" or "full" keyboard?

The other reason I was hoping this was the issue is the "MENU" and EDIT[ "MACRO" and "AUX/GRAPH:"] hard keys do not do anything, but the rest of the hard keys are functional so far. The Fanuc manual is poorly written (translated?) in parts of it, but parameter 13 relates to "menu" in the description, but I have no idea if it is for the menu key or something totally different.
I know these parameters were manually reloaded by the previous owner, so there is a decent chance these are parameter oversights. But assuming these features are not toggled by parameters does anyone have any ideas on how to start trouble shooting them?
