Hello,
Does anyone have any first hand experience reaming approx. a .098 hole in 17-4 ph. I broke a few solid carbide reamers so I moved the reaming to the Bridgeport
so I could feel whats going on. Without warning the reamer would randomly grab a part and spin it out of my fingers. Several reamers did this. At first I left
about .006 for the reamer then I tried .002 for the reamer.
Does anyone have specific RPM for a .098 carbide reamer for this material that they have used and know works? Thanks...
