Leveling and Squaring a Mori MV-40B VMC

So I am trying to do my annual inspection and leveling, for my 89 MV-40B I can get the X and Y level with no twist.

I am following the factory leveling procedure

The mori has 8 leveling screws under it,

7 8

5 6

3 4

1 2

The service manual reads as follows :

1) Place a level on the table center alogn the direction of X axis.

2) Level the machine by adjusting jack bolts 1, 2, 5, and 6. The remaining four jack bolts (3, 4, 7, and 8) should not be used for leveling at this time. Leave these screwed up out of contact with the jack bolt plate.

3) Move the table along the Y axis with the level in place. Then correct the torsion of the bed so that the level does not move. This will level X and Y in relation to each other.

4) Measure the squareness of the of the table top surface and the Z-axis direction. Since the column will probably be inclined backward as the result of step 3 immediately above, correct this inclination with jack bolts 7 and 8.

5) After the inclination of the column has been corrected:

Upper left to lower right inclination....
adjust with jack bolts 6 and 1

Lower left to upper right inclination
adjust with jack bolts 5 and 2

At this time, since the squareness of X and Y will have deviated slightly, readjust the squareness with the jack bolts, comparing the squareness of X-Y, X-Z, and Y-Z so the optimum - level conditions are obtained.

6) finally set jack bolts 3 and 4.

The problem I am running into is at step 4. After I set bolts 1, 2, 5, and 6 I am getting a out of square measurement in the Y-Z direction. I am using a Granite Tri-Square and I am getting .0025" of travel on my .0001" indicator per every 5"

If i put any load on the 7 and 8 screws the out of squareness condition increases. Initially I leveled the bed in the x and y and checked for twist and that gave me around .0035" error / 5" in the YZ. I have raised bolts 1 and 2 and lowered bolts 5 and 6 and improved squareness to .0025" / 6" Any ideas on how to get the rest of it dialed out?

Thanks!

Any suggestions?
