The turret has failed to achieve the correct position and the evidence suggests the encoder is feeding back wrong information.
The diagnostics and voltage readings suggest that bit 1 of the output is permanently 1.
Out of my depth and aware it is easy to blow things up by "boldly going" I have asked an expert to test it.
They are a bit baffled by the non-connection of some of the signals.
Anybody know anything about a Sumtak 044 1010 please?
The turret is ten station and there are five binary outputs not four as you might expect. There is a suggestion that bit 5 appears with all others zero just on station ten. The outputs are labelled 1, 2, 4, 8, 10.
The control system is OT-A.
I wait with baited breath!
