Hi all,
I have this recurrent problem setting G54 coordinates on my machine.
When I initiate the axes and the machine is on 0;0;0.
I can operate the machine to go to the last entered G54 position x0 y0 no problem. (G00G90G54 X0 Y0)
The difficult part is assigning a different set of coordinates to G54.
I have tried many different approaches nothing will do, It is as if the control had a mind of it's own.
To get my newly entered set of coordinates, I have so far turned off the machine, restarted it and , bingo, the new set of coordinates I last entered in G54 is bang on.
Lately, I have found that if I remove the G54 command line in a program, I can operate under the set of coordinates entered in the universal coordinate mode, which is easy to set and operate.
Any suggestion anyone? There has to be an easy way to this.
.
