Horizontal Programming

I am new to programming for Horizontal mills. What is the best way to go about setting the work offset locations?

I would like to just set a center point and and always program from that point.

I have programmed 4 axis VMCs and programmed to the center of rotation and if something was a little off I would add another work offset to adjust.

What are some other methods?

These parts aren't that difficult. What if I had parts that need to be machined at different angles?

-1jpg I have an offset for each stock. We are going to machine the parts out of a bar.

-1 OP2jpg is hoe the parts will be held for 2nd op.

Thanks for the help.
