Sliding a dial indicator across my table shows the X varies by 2 thou in just the far-right four inches of travel. The Y is off by about 2.5 thou.
Also, using a fly cutter at about 3" in diameter shows a 4-thou dip in the upper-left quadrant of the cut.
Obviously everything's out of whack but I have no idea what to do about it. It's preventing me from properly facing parts. Tormach told me to check the balance on the machine. I did that. It was off. I fixed it best I could but it actually made the problem slightly worse. I've done my absolute best to realign the spindle and everything else but to no avail
Any info you have regarding these issues would be greatly appreciated
