Mazak Integrex 50Y Questions

Hello,

We are looking at purchasing a Integrex 50Y x 2000 and have a few questions about the machine. This machine is a 1997 model with a T Plus Control and doesn't have the B-axis swiveling head.


Can this machine face hole interpolate? In other words, can I interpolate a 3" hole on the face part not on the center line?

We have a mazak qt-28 with a t-32 control. Is the T-plus a good control for the Integrex? How does it compare to the T-32? Will our operators transition easily?


Any other information about the 50Y or T Plus will be appreciated.
