Been sort of looking to add another lathe to the line up, and found a line on a early 90s Ikegai TC15
Not familiar with Fanuc, but has an O-T controller on it... but Im sure I can learn. Just trying to get a feel for what people think of the machine. Searched here for "Ikegai TC15" and got nothing.
Sort of looking for "yeah decent machines" or "no - all those modles were problem-children" or the like.
I know Wrustle had one, but got rid of it for an Okuma, and Im looking to add to my 1980 Okuma LC10 rather than replace.
Wondering what an expected value might be of one that is in decent shape. All I know currently is what I have seen in pictures, but supposedly under power for inspection and looks fairly clean and well cared for in the pics.
Would rather find another Okuma, but not finding anything that is in the budget, or close enough that the trucking doesnt take it right out of the budget.
