what do i need to setup a offline edit terminal for an Fanuc OTC control?

I think I need a PC with a parallel port or is it the 9 pin serial port? I can get the cable ends locally but need to know the wiring pinout and the control procedures.

New to Fanuc controls, not CNC in general
