Just got a older XP PC so I could talk to my Fanuc VMC..... I downloaded One CNC DNC software and set it up via 25 pin RS232. Set the DNC software to 4800, 2stop,ISO 1, even, Xon/Xoff, 7 length. Using Com3 I get the computer to recognize the Fanuc because it is ready to recieve. I place the Fanuc in edit and select program and push output and nothing. I tried EOB and output and still nothing. The PC just sets there and says waiting for machine.
This is my first time trying to upload or download to the Fanuc control. All of my short programming has been in the direct input via the edit mode which works fine. I sure one of you guys see my stupid mistake and would appreciate if you could point it out.
